MOMO is type of steamed and fried dumpling with some form of filling.MOMO is believed to be a Tibetan origin and since then has spread to other neighbouring countries.It is similar to Chinese BOAZI,Japanese GYOZA and korean MANDU. A simple white flour and water dough is preferred to make outing MOMO covering. Momo is prepared with grounded /minced meat filling. Vegetarian momo is prepared with finely chopped vegetables such as carrot,cabbage,onion,spring-Onion,zucchini and other ingredients. MOMO is served with a sauce normally made with tomato as the base ingredients.Soup momo is a dish with steam momo immersed in a meat broth or a vegetable broth.
